DR. TARAS KONANEC graduated from McGill University Faculty of Dentistry in 1997. He subsequently completed a postgraduate residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. Following this, he began his dental practice with his father on a part time basis. They practiced together for 11 years. During that time he also began practicing at the Drummond Dental Group with Dr Lloyd Flanagan. As of January 2011 Dr Konanec has taken over the helm as owner of the Drummond Dental Group.

Dr. Konanec has particular interest in teaching and continuing education. He is a part time faculty lecturer at McGill University Faculty of Dentistry where he is involved in the restorative department teaching the course on fillings and filling teeth with various materials. He has been doing so for over a decade.
